For my poster and information design class, we were asked to create a travel poster highlighting eight destinations within a chosen city. I chose San Diego and decided to take an illustrative approach, hand drawing the entire poster in Procreate. To me, San Diego has a peaceful and laid back feel, which is why I leaned into a handwritten style to make it feel personal and inviting.

The color palette was inspired by the San Diego Padres, which influenced the warm browns and neutrals throughout the design. I also incorporated a hint of red to reference San Diego’s train system.
