My Hidden in Plain Sight series captures details from Jamie’s Ice Cream Co., the café that launched my passion for graphic design and marketing. After interning there, I continued on as an assistant graphic designer and social media marketer, making the space deeply familiar to me.

Shot entirely on 35mm film, this series was developed and printed by hand in the darkroom, allowing me to fully engage with the traditional photographic process. Drawing from my background in design and marketing, I photographed overlooked objects and branding elements throughout the café as if they belonged in a magazine spread or product catalog. Through both the analog process and the subject matter itself, I aimed to highlight the personality, warmth, and visual identity that make the shop feel so special.
